Ibiza Beaches & Beach Bars

This island is a very special place for my husband and I. We lived here together for 4 years between 2009-2012. He was able to show me parts of the island that others will never know. I’m going to share with you all the places I hold near and dear!

Tropicana is my all time favorite beach bar on the island. It’s located on Cala Jondal Beach down the street from blue marlin. Tropicana’s half the price of BM and has way better food, service, sun lounges, and swimming plus did I mention how gorgeous it is? The dorada a la sal is literally the best fish I’ve ever had in my life!! They prepare it table side. Don’t forget to order Sangria.

Jokey Club

This gem is located on Salinas Beach, You Drive right over the salt flats to get here its pretty cool. My favorite bites are ham & melon, aioli, bread and olives. Ask for a round of hierbas after your meal it’s usually complimentary. The Music is always chill, and there’s never a shortage of beautiful people. It’s the kind of a place to see and be seen. I like coming here for lunch after a long night out and watching the sun go down. They offer beds, and sun lounges, or just kick it on the sand.

Aguas Blancas

This place is in the north of the island, very rustic and beautiful. Make sure you get here early the large cliffs makes the sun go in sooner than most beaches. If you face the sea all the way to the right is this awesome little beach shack that severs the best sandwiches & cocktails! Side note: its cash only. The reason why this is one of my favorite places is because it has a secret. Magic Mud! Walk down the beach to wear you see the cliffs are sort of purple or gray color, grab some water pour it on the rocks until you get a mud paste. Smear it all over your body! let it dry in the sun, and then jump in the sea and rinse off. Absolutely effective to soften the skin, and detox your system.

 Cala Salada

I would come here every day after working out and jump off the cliff into the sea. This is the only place where i’ll go cliff jumping on the island because it’s really safe and deep. It’s also a great place to collect sea glass.

This area was effected by a really bad wild-fire a couple of years ago but is pretty much back to normal now. Come here on a Sunday. Theres always a Drum Circle and fire shows. Explore your inner hippie.

Cala D’hORT

One of the best spots to gaze at Es Vedra all day. ES VEDRA creates a highly magnetic field, resulting in the 3rd most magnetic spot on the globe, it may effect compasses in the surrounding area and also may influence more sensitive individuals. This is where Ibiza gets it’s magic. Fell the love and have some paella!

Remember Ibiza isn’t all partying and night life. What makes this island magical and special is it’s unique beauty. If your lucky enough to make it out to the Balearics take the time to completely immerse yourself in nature!
